COTONOU and GANGIE

Explore Cotonou and Ganvié, a lakeside city nicknamed the Venice of Africa, heir to an ancient lagoon empire.

Explore Ganvié and its way of life on the water by dugout canoe, then immerse yourself in the excitement of the Dantokpa market, the largest market in Africa, before walking along the painted walls, witnesses to urban and local life.

ABOMEY: THE ROYAL CITY

Explore the royal palaces of Abomey, the former capital of Dahomey, which are listed as a World Heritage Site, then visit the fetish market, admire the statue of King Behanzin and discover a tropical fruit drying factory, a testament to local know-how and economic activities.

GRAND POPO: BETWEEN OCEAN, NATURE AND ARTS

In a single day, Grand-Popo reveals itself through its natural and cultural treasures. A visit to the turtle sanctuary highlights conservation efforts, followed by an immersion in crayfish fishing, a local practice. The tour concludes at Villa Karo, an arts and cultural center where contemporary exhibitions and creations engage with the history of the site.

PORTO NOVO

The visit begins with the great mosque, then you can visit the Honme Museum, the former Royal Palace, and immerse yourself in the daily life of a king.

You also discovered the Black African pantheon, witnesses to the history, beliefs and cultural mixing that make up the identity of Porto-Novo.

ADJARA: THE BLACK RIVER

The visit begins with a rowboat trip on the Black River, in the heart of a lush and beautiful environment. It continues with the discovery of local skills: palm oil production, sodabi distillation, drum making, and an introduction to traditional basketry techniques.

You will be able to taste the local gastronomic specialty: grilled pork.

THE SOUL OF BENIN THROUGH ITS MARKETS

This day trip will take you to discover different types of markets in Benin, reflecting daily life and local trade. From the barter market in Comè to the fish market in Segbohouè, passing through the fetish market and the Zobé market in Ouidah. You will also discover a very lively local market that is held periodically.
